I am an artist.
I am Jayd Ramos. I am an artist.

It started in 1997, primarily for some theater and musical pieces. I composed songs and directed musicals then. On the side, i sang for a band. It was my 1st love, music.
In 2002, i ventured into radio productions, produced a lot of radio merchandising plugs and commercials.
In 2005, I incorporated video to my audio works, and luckily, was able to produce some AVPs for some local bars and corporations.
Having been exposed to almost all the arts except for visuals, i remembered how i aced my photography classes when i was in college. I wanted to explore more, to grow as an artist, to move on. And so on Dec 2007, i bought my 1st dslr, his name is Miyake. =)
I know i cannot have this as a hobby as it is a very expensive one. I made some folios, started to sell them. And yeah, i found my new love. On May 2008, i went full time.
i capture LIFE.
My art is like the thin line between portraiture and fashion photography.
I still believe that I am more of a photographer than a graphic artist.
I am branding LIFE photography, simply put:
More edgy than hardcore portraits, less manipulations than fashion sets.
